Everything you need to make your decision
The Ember is a 2-person full-spectrum infrared sauna that delivers near, mid, and far infrared wavelengths. Unlike traditional saunas that heat the air, infrared penetrates tissue directly — you sweat more at a lower ambient temperature (130-150°F vs 190°F). The low-EMF carbon fiber heaters are positioned on all four walls plus the floor for even coverage. Canadian hemlock construction with tempered glass front door. Built-in Bluetooth speakers, chromotherapy lighting, and a digital control panel. Plugs into a standard 120V outlet — no electrician needed. Assembles in under an hour with buckle connectors.

Infrared saunas heat the body directly with infrared light at lower air temperatures (120°F–140°F) than traditional saunas. The heater panels are built into the walls and controlled digitally.

Digital Control Panel

Interior and exterior control panels set temperature, time, and chromotherapy lighting. Pre-heat setting allows scheduling 30–60 minutes before your session. Most units reach temp in 20–30 minutes.

Heater Zones

Full-spectrum models have independent controls for near-IR, mid-IR, and far-IR panels. Far-IR is most common for general wellness. Near-IR panels run hotter — start with all panels at 50% intensity for first sessions.

Session Timer

Set the session timer to auto-shut-off after 30–45 minutes. The unit powers down completely — no idle power consumption. An audible chime signals the end of session.

Chromotherapy Lighting

LED color panels built into the ceiling offer 9–16 color modes. Adjust via the control panel or included remote. Red light at 630–660nm has documented wellness applications. Blue light for calm, amber for energy.

Note: Unlike traditional saunas, you can use an infrared sauna before fully pre-heating — the IR waves heat your body even when the air is still warming up.

How does this compare?

The infrared sauna market is split between $1K junk from Amazon and $8K luxury units. The Ember hits the sweet spot — full-spectrum (most budget units only do far-infrared), low-EMF certified, and real hemlock (not the ‘select’ hemlock that’s actually SPF). The 120V plug-in means no $500 electrician visit. Lifetime structural warranty is rare at this price.
