Shipping & Returns

Vehicle lifts aren't Amazon packages. They're heavy industrial equipment that ships via freight carrier — and there are a few things you should know before ordering.
How Shipping Works
All lifts ship direct from the manufacturer or authorized distributor to your location. We coordinate the entire process — you don't need to deal with the manufacturer yourself.
- Most lifts ship via LTL freight (Less Than Truckload) on a pallet or crate
- Larger lifts (semi-truck runway systems, heavy equipment lifts) may require full truckload delivery
- Shipping is to your business address or job site — residential delivery may incur additional fees
- We ship nationwide across the continental United States
- Alaska, Hawaii, and international shipping available on request (additional fees apply)
Delivery Timeframes
Delivery times vary by product and manufacturer. Here's what to expect:
- In-stock items: 1–3 weeks from order confirmation
- Made-to-order / specialty lifts: 3–6 weeks from order confirmation
- Large commercial systems (runway lifts, multi-post systems): 4–8 weeks
We'll provide an estimated delivery window with your quote. Once your order ships, you'll receive tracking information and a delivery appointment window from the freight carrier.
What to Expect at Delivery
- The freight carrier will deliver to your loading dock or curbside (liftgate service available for an additional fee if you don't have a dock)
- Someone must be present to receive the delivery and sign for it
- Inspect the shipment before signing. Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt. Take photos. This is critical for filing damage claims.
- If the packaging looks damaged, open and inspect the equipment with the driver present before signing
Shipping Costs
- Shipping costs depend on the product, weight, and your delivery location
- We'll include a freight quote with your equipment quote — no surprises
- Some products include free shipping to commercial addresses (noted in the product listing)
- Residential delivery, liftgate service, and inside delivery incur additional fees
Installation
Installation is not included with the purchase of any lift unless specifically stated in your quote.
- We strongly recommend professional installation by a qualified technician
- Your facility must meet the lift's requirements: adequate floor thickness (typically 4" minimum reinforced concrete), ceiling height, and electrical supply
- We can help connect you with installers in your area — just ask
- Improper installation voids manufacturer warranties and creates serious safety hazards
Cancellations
- Before production/shipment: Orders can be cancelled with a full refund if the product hasn't entered production or shipped from the manufacturer
- After production begins: Made-to-order products cannot be cancelled once production has started. A restocking fee of up to 25% may apply.
- After shipment: If the product has shipped, you're responsible for return freight costs plus any applicable restocking fee
Returns
Due to the size and weight of vehicle lifts, returns are handled on a case-by-case basis:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery if there's an issue with your order
- Damaged in transit: We'll file a freight claim and arrange a replacement at no cost to you. You must note the damage on the delivery receipt and provide photos.
- Defective product: Covered by the manufacturer's warranty. We'll coordinate the warranty claim process for you.
- Changed your mind: Returns may be accepted within 14 days of delivery for unused, uninstalled equipment in original packaging. Return freight and a 15–25% restocking fee apply.
- Installed equipment cannot be returned.
Damage Claims
This is important. Freight damage happens, and how you handle delivery determines whether you're covered:
- Always inspect before signing. Check the crate/pallet for visible damage.
- If anything looks off, write "DAMAGED" on the delivery receipt and take photos of the packaging and product.
- Contact us within 48 hours with photos and a description of the damage.
- If you sign "received in good condition" and discover damage later, it becomes much harder to file a successful claim.
