Warranty Information
Last updated: April 17, 2026
Every piece of equipment we sell is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. We don't manufacture lifts — we connect buyers with professional-grade equipment from trusted brands — but we stand behind the products we sell by actively supporting the warranty process.
Manufacturer Warranty Coverage
All vehicle lifts, forklifts, aerial work platforms, and related equipment sold by AlwaysBestLifts carry the original manufacturer's warranty. Warranty terms, duration, and coverage vary by brand and product type. Typical coverage includes:
- Structural components (frame, arms, runways): 1–5 years depending on manufacturer
- Hydraulic components (cylinders, pumps, hoses): 1–2 years
- Electrical components (motors, controls, sensors): 1 year
- Wear items (cables, pads, seals): typically not covered or covered for 90 days
We will provide specific warranty documentation for your product with your quote confirmation. If you need warranty terms before purchasing, just ask — we'll get them from the manufacturer.
What We Do (Warranty Coordination)
When you buy from AlwaysBestLifts, you get a real point of contact — not a manufacturer's 1-800 number. If you have a warranty issue:
- Contact us first at sales@alwaysbestlifts.com
- We'll identify the issue, determine whether it's covered under warranty, and coordinate with the manufacturer on your behalf
- For covered claims, the manufacturer will arrange repair, replacement parts, or a replacement unit depending on the nature of the defect
- We'll follow up until the issue is resolved — we don't disappear after the sale
What Warranties Cover
- Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
- Structural failures under normal operating conditions
- Component failures that are not the result of misuse, neglect, or improper installation
What Warranties Do NOT Cover
- Improper installation — lifts must be installed per manufacturer specifications by a qualified technician. Improper installation voids the warranty.
- Misuse or overloading — using equipment beyond its rated capacity or for purposes it wasn't designed for
- Normal wear and tear — pads, cables, seals, and other wear items that degrade over time
- Unauthorized modifications — any modifications to the equipment not approved by the manufacturer
- Neglect or lack of maintenance — failure to perform required maintenance as outlined in the operator's manual
- Damage in transit — freight damage is handled separately through a freight claim (see our Shipping Policy for the damage claim process)
- Environmental damage — corrosion, flood damage, or damage from use in conditions outside the product's specifications
AlwaysBestLifts Warranty Disclaimer
AlwaysBestLifts provides no additional warranty beyond what is offered by the manufacturer of each product. We make no independent warranty, express or implied, regarding the merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose of any product we sell, beyond what is expressly stated in the manufacturer's warranty documentation.
Our role is to facilitate the warranty process — we are not the manufacturer, and warranty obligations belong to the manufacturer. Our commitment is to advocate for you and make the process as smooth as possible.
How to File a Warranty Claim
- Document the issue — Take photos or video of the problem. Note the serial number and model number (usually on a label on the equipment).
- Contact us — Email sales@alwaysbestlifts.com with your order information, photos, and a description of the issue.
- We'll assess — We'll review the issue and confirm whether it's a warranty-covered defect or something else (user error, normal wear, freight damage).
- Claim submitted — If it's warranty-covered, we'll open a claim with the manufacturer on your behalf.
- Resolution — The manufacturer will arrange parts, repair, or replacement. Timeframe varies by manufacturer and nature of the defect, but we'll keep you updated throughout.
Important: Preserve Your Warranty
- Keep a copy of your purchase invoice — it's proof of purchase for warranty claims
- Follow the manufacturer's installation and maintenance requirements
- Use only authorized parts and accessories
- Have installations performed by a qualified technician
- Register your product with the manufacturer if they offer a registration program (we'll send you registration info with your order)
