ATV and UTV platform lifts are wide, heavy-duty tables designed to accept a machine under its own power. Electric-hydraulic drive makes lifting multi-hundred-pound machines effortless.

Drive-On Loading

Ride the ATV/UTV up the integrated loading ramp onto the deck surface. The platform is wide enough for side-by-side tire tracks. Use the wheel stops to prevent roll-off before lifting.

Electric-Hydraulic Power

A 12V or 110V electric motor powers the hydraulic pump. The hand control (or rocker switch on frame) raises and lowers. Many models include a remote pendant for one-person operation.

Tie-Down Points

Heavy-duty D-ring anchor points are welded into the deck corners. Run cam straps over the frame rails or tow hooks before raising — UTVs can shift significantly at working height.

Safety Lock System

Multi-position mechanical locks engage automatically during ascent. Press the single-button lock release before lowering. Never rely on hydraulic pressure alone — always confirm locks are engaged when working under or around the machine.

Note: Weight distribution: center the machine front-to-back on the platform. Heavy UTVs with cabs are top-heavy — position the machine's center of gravity over the platform center before lifting.

⚙️ Automatic Safety Locks

Ratchet locks on each column engage automatically as the platform rises. A single-button lock release disengages all locks simultaneously for lowering — never crawl under the machine with locks not engaged.

🔒 Tie-Down System

Welded D-ring anchor points on all four deck corners accept cam buckle or ratchet straps. At 1,500–3,000+ lbs, an ATV or UTV shifted on a 36" high platform can be catastrophic — always strap it down.

⚡ Low-Voltage Safety

The electric pump runs on 110V but the control circuit is 12V for shock protection. If the control circuit detects a short or moisture intrusion, it cuts power to the pump before the high-voltage circuit is affected.

📐 Overload Cutoff

A hydraulic pressure switch cuts pump power if the load exceeds the rated capacity. The pump will not re-engage until the load is reduced — preventing cylinder damage and maintaining safe lifting geometry.

How does this compare?

Most shop lifts won’t accept an ATV at all — wrong footprint, wrong weight distribution, no way to drive on. The TrailLift ATV is purpose-built for the quad/side-by-side shape. The 3,000 lb capacity with a 66” width covers every production ATV from a 250cc sport quad to a heavy-duty utility model with a front blade.
