ATV and UTV platform lifts are wide, heavy-duty tables designed to accept a machine under its own power. Electric-hydraulic drive makes lifting multi-hundred-pound machines effortless.
Ride the ATV/UTV up the integrated loading ramp onto the deck surface. The platform is wide enough for side-by-side tire tracks. Use the wheel stops to prevent roll-off before lifting.
A 12V or 110V electric motor powers the hydraulic pump. The hand control (or rocker switch on frame) raises and lowers. Many models include a remote pendant for one-person operation.
Heavy-duty D-ring anchor points are welded into the deck corners. Run cam straps over the frame rails or tow hooks before raising — UTVs can shift significantly at working height.
Multi-position mechanical locks engage automatically during ascent. Press the single-button lock release before lowering. Never rely on hydraulic pressure alone — always confirm locks are engaged when working under or around the machine.
Ratchet locks on each column engage automatically as the platform rises. A single-button lock release disengages all locks simultaneously for lowering — never crawl under the machine with locks not engaged.
Welded D-ring anchor points on all four deck corners accept cam buckle or ratchet straps. At 1,500–3,000+ lbs, an ATV or UTV shifted on a 36" high platform can be catastrophic — always strap it down.
The electric pump runs on 110V but the control circuit is 12V for shock protection. If the control circuit detects a short or moisture intrusion, it cuts power to the pump before the high-voltage circuit is affected.
A hydraulic pressure switch cuts pump power if the load exceeds the rated capacity. The pump will not re-engage until the load is reduced — preventing cylinder damage and maintaining safe lifting geometry.
Side-by-sides have become serious off-road machines with serious price tags. A $25,000 RZR XP Turbo deserves a proper lift. The dual-cylinder equalization on the Command is what separates it from single-post platforms that tip under the asymmetric weight of a loaded cab. The 76” platform width is the critical spec — check your vehicle’s width before ordering.
